I was just curious if you guys were ever considering adding drawing guides and possibly a ruler to the Snag-It editor. The drawing guide would be exponentially useful when aligning objects. Please let me know if this is on your roadmap and/or something you would consider?

Thank you, Trevor

Similar to what Office is doing, especially the snapping is helpful.

While I do a lot of my graphic editing in Snagit, this is a major problem for aligning stuff. I can use Paintshop and others for it, the problem is that the images from snagit always look a bit amateurish if not aligned well.

I could not agree more with you. I have to trick Snag-It to do this by drawing a line that I later have to delete. Can be a little frustrating when you are trying to align multiple objects.

Given that editing especially for the web usually requires working with other things like hex color tools as well, I have given up on editing in snagit and curse every time I start doing it in there.

If not for the other reason that the editor has a strange way of what editing option is selected, it should be most of the time selection / drag and drop and not jump around like this; but that is another story.

Yes, I also agree with you here. This would be extremely helpful. I am constantly having to toggle between Photoshop & Snag-It when I would rather just stay in Snag-It. Ohhh!!! one more really nice to have would be the support of some sort of layers. Even if it was in limited form. This is not critical; however, it would be nice to be able to turn layers on and off.
