Save effect/transition/etc. configuration as a preset; just like in SnagIt

It would be really helpful if in Camtasia as a User I could save effect/transition/etc. configuration as a preset. In that way, I wouldn't need to configure repeatedly the same settings for different video/audio clips. I would just reuse and apply the saved preset to the clips. That would save a diabolically huge amount of time.

Sounds almost like something one might call a "definable behavior". I'd love to see behaviors extended in this way.

Me too! I have often wished that default behaviour in Camtasia could either be redefined, or if themes/collections could be used for that.

perhaps consider creating a template for your custom stuff then put in Library as a reusable asset?

if the asset is built around a media file, you can use update media to hot-swap in what you need

might be worth giving it a try ...

Two things missing from Camtasia even after all these years:  presets (or definable behaviors) and the ability to customize the toolbar to suit how you work.  Macros are true "definable behaviors" and they are also not part of Camtasia's repertoire of tricks.  Instead, we are offered some nice new lower thirds and similar shiny baubles in exchange for which we must surrender MP3 output capability.
