Save selection as stamp

It would be an awesome feature to be able to build your stamp library if we could make a selection, right-click the selection and see an option to save the selection as a stamp!

At that point a dialog should appear allowing us to choose the location or Stamp folder in which to save.

Cheers... Rick :)

Rick,

Snagit can do this! Take a look at our blog post that gives you step by step instructions on how to create your own stamps, check out the last few minutes for an explanation on how to save images as stamps. http://blogs.techsmith.com/tips-how-tos/make-your-own-snagit-number-stamps/#.U0Wcpq1dUpI

Thanks Sarah, most appreciated. However, it somewhat misses my point.

In the video, after creating the image that is desired for the Stamp, it shows saving the image(s) you want to use as a stamp to a folder. Then once complete, opening Windows Explorer and navigating to the Stamps location and performing a copy and paste to get the stamps to finally appear on the list in SnagIt.

What I was hoping to suggest was just from right inside SnagIt, offer an ability to right-click and save the object as a stamp without having to do all the browsing and copying and pasting.

Cheers... Rick :)

Great suggestion. We'll add it to the list of features to consider. Thanks for your feedback!
