Scale down cursor

I recorded videos on a secondary 1080 monitor with Windows scaling set to 100% however Camtasia appears to have recorded cursor using my primary monitor's scaling of 200%. The result is very large cursors in my .trec file. In Camtasia you are able to scale a cursor size up but I need to scale it down to get back to the correct size...

Am I hosed and have to rerecord or is there a way to scale down this cursor?

It seems like Camtasia should use the scaling factor of the screen that the recording is taking place on.

There's nothing you can do using Camtasia 9 that I'm aware of.

You could open that same trec file in Camtasia 8 and make the cursor smaller by typing a decimal point in the cursor window followed by a 2 digit value.

You could export the video with the shrunken cursor as an avi and finish editing it in Camtasia 9.

Or just edit in Camtasia 8.

Regards,Joe

You can download, install, and activate Camtasia 8 using your Camtasia 9 key. It's not an illegal act and you can have both versions installed on the same computer at the same time.

You can download and install a new or an older version from this link.

Awesome. Didn't occur to me to try C8. That works! Thanks Joe.

I tried editing the C9 project in notepad and updating the scale there but C9 wouldn't open it after that.
