Scapple and Snagit

Hi and Happy New Year : )
I am a longtime and everyday user of Snagit. I use it in combination with powerpoint, word, twitter etc.
I am also frequently using the mind map software Scapple. The only thing I miss out now is a "share" plugin to conect the two and make an even better workflow each and every day. Please, help me out. I know that we are many in my circle that have the same needs.
That would be the perfect gift for us Snagit-users.

I do not know the Scapple software but you can put a screenshot into any program that can take one
In the editor go to SHARE / Program / manage and add a new program ... and set up scapple
Try it a couple of times to see if it ports something from the editor correctly and then you can build a preset and send the output to Scapple (add a hot key to make it even quicker)
Several of us have this sort of thing set up for Photoshop/ Illustrator and more

Nice try Rick,

it doesn't work though. I downloaded the free trial of Scapple early this morning to see if I could get it to work.
It won't. So I abandoned the idea.

I think it must have something to do with the drag and drop insert functionality of  Scapple.

Here's the error message

It's an image I can drag into the program without issue.

Regards,Joe

This makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever to me, but here goes.

It may be worth trying by opening this scapple application using Administrator mode (if it's not being run as an admin) or opening WITHOUT being in Administrator mode if that's how it's being run.

I know that there is a drag and drop capability in Adobe Captivate. And it's recommended that Captivate be operated using Administrative mode. And this is the part that baffles me. If it's being run in Administrative mode, that somehow clobbers the ability to drag images into the application. But the minute you turn off Administrative mode, the drag and drop work just fine.

Maybe worth trying?

Cheers... Rick :)

I'm the only user and Administrator of this computer.

However, I ran the program manually as one  to see what would happen.Same thing happened. It views the jpeg as project file and considers it unreadable as a result.

This is the first image program I couldn't get it to work in.But it's not an image editing program. I think that might be the disconnect?
I was curious about the program so I downloaded it to check it out.

There may be no place for an image to go in that prog unless you add it somewhere specifically. Like exporting a graphic to notepad
