Screen captures in Windows 10 with 100% display scaling can't get left 1/4 of screen

Has anyone seen this issue before, have a resolution for it?  On Windows 10 (latest with latest updates as of March 2018), when I have Display Scaling at 100% and I do a screen capture, the left 1/4 of the capture is white.  The screen itself is fine, and if I use Region to capture, everything looks like it is working, until Snagit Editor comes up, and the capture is white.  However, if I change display scaling to 125%, no problem.  But of course, that reduces significantly my screen real estate.

What is your screen resolution? There was a thread a few weeks ago, whereby (assuming I remember correctly) it was discovered that SnagIt is not compatible with high-resolution (4K??) screens. Or something similar, I only took a side glance at the issue, since it did not apply to me.

Resolution is 1920x1080 - I actually have 2 screens with that resolution, 1-the built-in laptop monitor, and 2-an external AOC monitor, both have the same behavior.  On 100% display scaling, SnagIt cannot capture the left 1/4 of the screen; on 125%, it can capture anything.
