screen gets bigger

I always use the Region Selection to usually copy to the clipboard.  After years of using this setting, the program now enlarges the screen to be captured such that I can't get all the image that I need.  How do I get the program back to not changing the screen image that I want to capture?

If this is a SnagIt question?
This usually occurs when using more than one monitor. Both or all monitors, have to be set to the same zoom level.
If you have  4K monitor set to 200% so you see whats on it, and a 1920 x 1080 monitor set to 100% because you don't need magnification to read it.
SnagIt acts like that.

Thanks Joe.  Both my 2 monitors appear to be set to the same size.  How do I tell if they're zoom setting is different?

On Windows, right click a monitor in an open area .Chose Display Settings.

Click on one of the monitors in the top display to check its properties.

I have 2 monitors and both are set at 100% with the resolution for both at 1920 x 1080 yet when I try to snag a region, the screen zooms in to the point that I can't see about a third of the screen.

Hi AreSquare;

It's possible that what you're seeing is related to drivers being out of date. Do you know if you're running an Intel, nVidia, or AMD graphics card in your computer? If so, you'll want to head to that manufacturer's support website and download the latest drivers. Once installed, try restarting the computer and giving Snagit a spin.
