The screen chomp videos my students are creating on their ipads never get to me. What might be wrong?

My students created screen chomp videos in class and were to email me their link. We followed the normal procedure which appears to be very intuitive (thanks for that!). I only received 9 of the 60 I should have gotten in my email. I know the kids used the correct address because it was prepopulated from prior work. What might have happened?

Hi Mrs. Yakes,

I'm sorry that the process hasn't worked well thus far. :( I know how you set lessons plans w/ assumptions about how technology will allow you and the kids to x, y or z.

To send an email from Screenchomp, there are really just 3 part to the equation:
1) make the video
2) upload it
3) email the link

#1 and #2 is all Screenchomp. And I would make sure that the those are working for the kids. #3 is really triggered from within Screenchomp, but it uses a built-in feature of the iPad to send an email. its the least tricky part of the process, so to speak. I'm not suspicious of it.

So, I might ask one of the kids who didn't have success getting you a video to show you how they walk through the process.

Now, that being said (man, this is a long email), you might want to check out Ask3, our latest app for the iPad. It is set up for the automated delivery of videos to the class. Let me know if you think it would work for you. Its free for you and students.
