Screen Recorder "Rendering Failed"

I use the screen recorder to record a video. Then, I press Stop, and it starts to create the video, and right when the % bar fills all the way up, instead of showing me a "preview" of my video, It says "Error in the Recorder: Rendering Failed".

This happens about 75% of the time. What do I do to fix it?
