Is there a way to compose a video for use in Screencast.com where the viewer can click a hotspot to turn objects in a video on (make them visible) or off (make them invisible)? including audio tracks?

No; you can make a hotspot that jumps to another point in the video, so you could try to do something cute where you have (say) 4 versions of your video and jump around to the right one, but there isn't anything that lets you flip on/off audio tracks via a button.
