If I am uploading a video to share using Snagit to screencast.com, how long do the videos I upload stay available. I would like to post some reference videos for my colleagues. Are these deleted after a certain period of time? Do I need to save and post these somewhere else (or self host) if I wish to retain them longer? Should I upload/share using a different method for longer retention?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Hello,
This is a good question!

Your content uploaded to SC.com stays there until you take it down. While nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky, or so we've been told, I don't see SC.com going away anytime soon. So, you should be very safe in uploading your videos for the long run.

HOWEVER, you can run out of bandwidth if you are using the Free account and you have a lot of people watching your videos. So, you should check your bandwidth usage to ensure you have enough each month to allow your viewers uninterrupted access your videos.

Others might have other suggestions or ideas for you concerning your other questions about different methods of storing and playing videos.
