Scroll through the library

I would love to be able to scroll through the screenshots without the
others showing in the recent/library thumbnails sections.

I use Loom - which is a video screen capture system - a lot now to run through stuff with clients - especially showing them the large central capture - sometimes the thumbnail screenshots on the screen are inappropriate or show competitors if I am researching something – which is a bit awkward.

This – IMHO – would be a superb feature to add.

Absolutely love Snagit – recommend it all the time – really don't know how I would manage without it anymore - it is utterly brilliant by the way ...

Hi,

If you collapse the Recent tray and use the command [ and ] hotkeys, you can move through the captures with the tray hidden.

EDIT: this is true on Mac, I'm not sure what the hotkeys are for Windows.

OK - interesting - thank you.

I did contact support - and got this reply ...

"Unfortunately, there is no feature to scroll to the next image, the options are to select the next picture in the Recent tab or open an image from the library.

I'll try the hotkey thing - thank you

Luke - Hi

I can't find anything - could you tell me what you'd use on a Mac - and I'll see if I can duplicate it?

Thanks

It looks like unfortunately in the windows version the tray has to be visible for the arrow keys to be able to switch captures.

Hi Theoldfice,
I am wondering if you could:
  1. Tag your images with a keyword according to your clients, projects, etc.
  2. Then, when you need to only display what you need, you could do a Library search for those images.
  3. Select them all in the Library and press Enter. This opens them in the Editor.
  4. Once there, use the  < and > keys to move through the tray and the images will display in the Editor. Sort of like a slide show.

Also, Snagit:Mac supports QuickLook...  (a feature of OS X)

1. Go to the Library
2. Select the items you'd like to "scroll through". (Use shift click/command click to alter selection)
3. Press the space-bar on your keyboard.
4. Click the "zoom" icon on the Quicklook window to expand to full screen
