Scrolling Capture Scrolls, but does not capture

When using the scrolling capture feature it appears to be capturing the whole page, by scrolling down it. Unfortunately, when the image pops up in the editor, it is only the top of the page, not actually capturing the scroll.

Hi,

That's no fun! I have a couple of questions about your setup:

1. What version of Snagit do you have?
2. What web browser are you using?
3. Is the problem specific to a few websites, or is it happening everywhere?

Hopefully it's a simple fix, but there are some websites that don't play nice. For those it's better to use Snagit's Panoramic Capture.

Have to ask the obvious question.... Did you click the throbbing down pointing arrow then patiently wait for it to finish the scrolling AND open up in the Editor. It is not going to work correctly unless it is handled as I described.

Hi,

I would open up a ticket with our Tech Support team, when this happens it's often a website or piece of software that we haven't run into before.

Used Snagit at my office and so thought I would download it here - same problem I had at the office with the trial in Firefox @ home - it does seem to scroll (very fast) and then presents just the first page... tried it a couple of times and no luck - don't see a 'panoramic option'   (I do know snagit, but forgot how we fixed the scrolling issue over a year ago when the newest release created this bug)

Hi, What version of Snagit do you have? The latest versions of Firefox don't support automatic scrolling anymore, so in the latest versions of Snagit, we auto switch you to panoramic when you try to scroll Firefox.
