scrolling picture use in Camtasia 9 mac

I used snagit to capture a long picture using the panoramic function.   I thought I would be able to scroll the picture in Camtasia.  I thought this was in an earlier version and I seem to only get a smaller picture on the video canvas.   Is there a way to do this?

Highlight the image and check the Visual Properties. Is the image scale set to 100%?

Ok I checked that.  It is at 100% now.  It is larger than the canvas.  How can I  scroll through it?  Or am I going to have to take a video scrolling through it and pull in the MP4 ?

I'm guessing you haven't done much video editing in Camtasia.
Try watching this tutorial. https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia-9-3-animations-effects.html
There are other TechSmith tutorials to help you as as well.https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia-9-3.html

Hi,  Here is a movie I made panning using the Mac version.  I was a bit confused with the above animation movie.  I will be glad to do a little movie of how I did this for you if this is what you are after  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33374170/Movies/ZoomTest.mp4

Thanks Bill.  So I guess you did that in snagit and imported it to camtasia?  The picture I had was a vertical one.  So I will play with it and see what I can make happen.  You did a great job and I really appreciate it.

Here's a video I created with the Windows version of of Camtasia.
As far as I know all the instructions will be the same for a MAC computer. This is how you would apply a horizontal scroll with all the steps involved."I didn't have a large vertical Image".
Just pan up to down/OR down to upward instead.
It's a fairly simple animation, there's a few steps and it should be easier to follow them when you see them in action.

Regards,Joe

Hit the gear Icon when you start the video to select and set video quality to 1080p. Then select the full screen button next to it for best viewing quality.
It's an unlisted video because it's not a polished production but you can share the link if you want to.

THANK YOU -- I didn't know Camtasia could do this; I thought I would have to have use another program to get that effect!
To pan up/down, line up the upper/lower of graphic with the upper/lower edge of the canvas after completing the Shift + A step.
