Suggest you try using "Panoramic Scrolling Capture" instead.

Yes .. I can capture by manually scrolling DOWN with Panoramic... but WHY remove, disable or just leave broken, Page Scrolling when the button to Scroll Capture keeps popping up.  BESIDES .. this feature is one of SnagIt's BEST features..?

in Snagit 13, when Selection was set to Window, capturing provided an option to capture the selected region, capture a scroll, resize, redo, cancel etc. Its gone in 2018. I vote to bring that feature back because it allowed an easy, in place choice of what to capture. Its absence in 2018 means more keystrokes, more effort and slower workflow.

I have Firefox 57.0 (64 Bit) and I agree that the All-in-One scroll for Snagit 2018 does not work in that, but, I also use Chrome 62.0.3202.94 (64 Bit) and the All-in-One scrolling for Snagit 2018 works fine in that one.

Apparently this is a known issue. Here's a link to a TechSmith article.  In addition to the two workaround options provided, setting Snagit 2018 to All In One lets you select a scrolling window capture after selecting the region to be captured. And that option works ok in Firefox.
