SnagIt: capturing using scrolling region.

Obviously, in most cases, the results will not fit on 1 page, it would be way too small to be of use.
The output would fit accross a number of pages, say 3 or 4, but are in fact squeezed on 1.

I have no problem to cut the output into different parts - based on A4 papersize (in SnagIt Editor), so I would then be able to copy paste those parts into Word and print that without loss of quality.

However, there is no way for SnagIt to show the pagebreak in the editor so I would know roughly where to cut the long capture into different parts.

Would that be a new option?

That would be a handy feature.

Hopefully it will be in v12 next year. Although Techsmith doesn't release any information as to what they intend to in- or exclude in any new version.

As there is no such thing as an 'official wish/today list' it seems for us here, that there is no alternative but to just wait and see. We will be given a chance to nag about what is missing etc. when it is of no use anymore, viz. -after- the final release only: ending up in threads like "What we're losing with Snagit 11 upgrade".

Ah well..

BTW: I don't say SnagIt is a bad product, to the contrary, I am using it very very frequently. Except for a few wishes, it is a very nice product indeed! I donot complain about that.
However, what I am saying is that it would not harm Techsmith to let their users know a little of what they are busy with from time to time. :-)

The ability to break a scrolled screen capture for printing or converting to PDF would make this product so much more useful to many, many users. I've been watching this product for nearly 10 years and haven't bought a copy since basic features like this remain missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That said, what product does offer this feature?
What are you using instead of SnagIt?
