I think it would be beneficial to be able to select any of the grab handles on the sides of a capture and 'nudge' the boundaries of the capture one pixel at a time. Call this 'Fine Tuning' if you will. This could also be used when cropping or cutting out an area.

Are you talking about during the process of capturing or during the process of editing after you have captured?

If you are talking about the process of capturing, that's possible to achieve. Just use your mouse to place the crosshairs near the beginning point, then let go of the mouse and use your arrow keys to nudge the crosshairs into place. Once you have it set, press the spacebar to lock in the coordinate. Then just grab and move the mouse to the opposite corner. Release the mouse and repeat the process. Then when you have the opposite corner set, press the Enter key to finalize the capture.

Cheers... Rick :)

I just tried what you described during capture and when I release the mouse button the window is captured. I have capture set to image with region selectable. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Rick. The part I was missing was to not use the mouse button after positioning the crosshairs. Works great now I got that. Thanks again.

What I would dearly love to see is the return of a feature known as "Custom Trim" that SnagIt used to have.

It's described in the link below:
