In tutorials particular parts of the screen are marked with self-completing circles, squares, etc. how do you make these animated shapes? I use Camtasia studio 8.4.2. and the extract is from the tutorial:Audio Series: Working with Music

These are Callouts, and in the Callout Library.

Hi there,

In general, I'd recommend watching this tutorial: http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia-8-08-add-callout.html. It covers the basics of adding and using callouts. If you're looking for more specific information, though, let me know. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Hi there,

It looks like a few people have already pointed you in the right direction :). The shapes you saw in the Working with Music tutorial are indeed callouts. The only other thing I'd add is that the self-completing ones are specifically sketch motion callouts: http://www.screencast.com/t/vktqcPsK.

Hope this helps!

Leanne
