How do you specify a video duration in Camtasia Studio 9?

In the timeline, I want to adjust the video duration precisely but I can't seem to do it.

There are Red and Green sliders on the Timeline indicator.
You can select a specific area of the Timeline and Produce only the "Selected Area" of the Timeline and control Duration that way.

Or you can shorten the duration of the media on timeline by grabbing it with your cursor. When you see a double arrow. Drag until you reach the desired duration.

Hi, I tried this but it still records 30 seconds when the video is only 19 seconds. I don't see anywhere on Camtasia 9.1 to produce "only selected area". How do I do this? With Camtasia 8 I never had this issue. It just stopped on the last frame.
