Looking to access a single library between multiple computers/accounts. Would be great if could use Google Drive (or other could service) as a storage solution.

Currently, the library is stored and accessed from a spot that won't be shared across computers or accounts. There is no way currently to specify the library location so you could have it in a shared location.  The best you can do right now is export assets from one library and import those into another.

What about using a SymLink with a service like DropBox?  Would that work?

I've done that very successfully with a number of apps, including AppleScript Script Libraries which are normally in the ~/Library folder.
