Share Multiple Images to Camtasia

I often take several screenshots in a row and then need to bring them all into Camtasia. Right now I can either use 'Share to Camtasia' on one image at a time, or use 'Export' to save all of the images out and then go into Camtasia and import them.

It would be great if there was a one-step method by which I could select multiple images in the 'recent' panel and export all of them into my Camtasia project, or even a way to prevent Camtasia from jumping to the front each time I share an image into it.

Hi there

I just tested by selecting multiple images in the SnagIt Recents tray, then making SnagIt a smaller window and clicking and dragging the selected images to the Media Bin in Camtasia. Seems to work fine for that.

Now it did result in some odd looking names in the Camtasia media bin. Not sure if that will be an issue.

Cheers... Rick :)

Really? I can't even click/drag one image from SnagIt to Camtasia.

I did find a minor workaround though - if I put Snagit on my second monitor I don't have to keep re-opening it after sharing an image. That's helpful.

They say is worth a thousand words. And that must mean a video is worth a thousand pictures!

See if the video below helps.

Ah. Yeah, you're on Snagit 2018 and I'm on SnagIt 11 (v 13.1.5) from last November.  I guess drag and drop is a newer feature!

another approach ...

make a Snagit profile that sends the capture to Camtasia; that way, every snag [using that profile] ends up where you want without additional effort
