Would love to have the ability to share to Google+. Would anyone else use this feature? If you linked it with Friend+me you could share to FB and Twitter as well. Plus with Google+ your images would not be condensed like they are on FB or Twitter.

Hey Ricky,

What product specifically, are you referring to?

We'd like to be able to share screenshots (pictures) and videos to Google+ using Snagit. Preferably, we'd love to be able to pick between if it is shared publicly or shared to our specific circles of friends. It could be added as an output accessory.

Absolutely. (Found this post trying to figure out how to share screen captures directly to Google+)

In fact, Snagit really needs to make social sharing easier, possibly more integrated directly into the default installation. Every time I have to reinstall it, I have to remember to go grab the appropriate "accessories", which I don't usually do until I think of it (and even then I usually just end up using "save as" and post from my desktop.)

I wouldn't personally have a problem if each post included a "shared with Snagit" tag to promote the product, although sharing tools would have to allow post editing features to make it usable in most cases.

Here is maybe a partial solution. In Snagit for Chrome, if you make a capture and click the share button, you get a goo.gl link. If you open that link in your web browser, you’ll get the full Google Docs URL for the image. If you then take that link and post it into Google+, it will embed the image into the post body.

It’s not perfect, but I hope this works for you in the meantime as we work toward a more comprehensive solution. As always, thanks for your excellent feedback!

I just suggested this to them as well. But more specifically, I'd like to see the ability to share to a Google + Community (specified by you.)
I subscribe and contribute to about a half-dozen communities, and sharing with SnagIt now is a kludge (save to desktop and then pull into Google + from there.)
