I have Snagit 13 installed on both my Mac and PC, is it possible to have a shared library that can be accessed from both (using dropbox or similar)?

Hi,

Unfortunately Snagit mac and windows don't share the same file type for their captures, so this would not be possible.

A clarification: it is possible to share the libraries using Dropbox or any other cloud service. But as Luke G. says, the Mac and Windows versions of Snagit use different file types, so you won't be able to USE the shared libraries for native Snagit files (although you could use JPG, PNG, etc. files on both platforms).

Thanks, so that i'm clear if I used PNG as a standard could I screen grab on my Mac and have that image available in my Library on my PC?

I've since set the dropbox folder so I know I can 'Save' the files there and open in the other OS which seems to work but didn't know if I could do this without having save each screen grab

Try it without moving the library folder. If nothing else put suncion points from the respective libaries into the dropbox folder and see if that works, or at least HOW it works
