Hi. I am a novice user. When I import a mov file into Camtasia 2018, I have a slightly shifted sound relative to the video. The original file is recorded correctly. I am asking you for help, how to solve this problem.

Hi.
You can separate image+sound by right clicking on the timeline. Now you can move the sound independently from the video. Hopefully you can now synchronise sound+image back again.

Cheers

It's odd that this happened.  You can do as Frank suggested to re-sync the audio and video.  Note that this will only work if the offset between the audio and the video is consistent throughout the entire movie. Does this happen for you with any mov file you import?  If not, if you'd like you can contact Techsmith technical support and send them the file that is out of sync and if it behaves the same for them, they can forward it to the development team so we can fix the issue for a future release.

First of all, thank you for your help. The problem concerned only one file from several recorded on the same day (I know, strange). But I managed to solve the problem in such a way that using iMovie I imported *.mov file and exported it to a new file (mp4), which I imported into Camtasia 2018. Now the sound and video are synchronized.
