Love the shortcut keys CTRL+ALT+ARROW KEYS to move backwards and forwards for the video clips.... so useful.

Is there something similar for audio or plans for it... we cut up our audio... that would be soooooooo helpful... well for me anyways... anyone else?

: ) No worries about all the questions. Hopefully people who want to accomplish similar things will stumble across these.

I need to change this into a feature request. Personally, I can never get enough hotkeys, and perhaps we need some discussion centered around audio hotkeys.

I also wish we can hold shift and select multiple audio that are split in the same audio track and then be able to move them as a group selection across the timeline. I don't know if this is already implemented or yet, but I can't seem to select more than 1 split audio and shift/offset it as a group.

When you start working with multiple split audio, and you add a clip into the timeline, the audio are no longer in sync but can easily be replace if we can shft select split audio as a group and offset it.

Absolutely - I've decided I will not hire someone to edit my video in camtasia because it is too slow and time is money.
Plus the mouse stokes are killing my carpal tunner.

Yes, in general I find CS to be pretty slim on the shortcut keys.

One of the things I do a lot is remove the inhalations and other artifacts from the audio track. Although it is do-able, it is extremely time consuming, especially w/o shortcut keys. (I suggest this feature for the Mac version as well, once the CM actually has the capacity to perform the aforementioned task).

In general, it feels like CS product is designed for very casual users, and is very unsatisfying for one who considers himself a "super" or "advanced" user.

Hello, with our latest release of Camtasia Studio 8.0.0 the ability to multi-select different audio clips and move them together is now possible. Not only can you multi-select them but you can Group them together to move as a single clip on the timeline and Ungroup them again if need be. Here’s a short video showing both features:

Multi-Select and Drag

Group and Ungroup

Let me know if you have any questions.
