Should be simple. Select a region save to clipboard and open in editor

I need to use a shortcut to select a region copy it to the clipboard and open it in the editor. I can't find a way to do it.

Go into Capture window and adjust the settings to do those three things. You can save it as a preset if you want to have different settings for different workflows.

Thanks Paul. I can do one or the other but not both
Using the wizard:
  1. Image Capture
  2. Input = Region
  3. Output = Clipboard & Preview in Editor is checked
  4. Preview in Editor is highlighted
  5. No effects
  6. Hot Key = CTRL = F1
F1 will show the selection cross hairs and let me make my selection
Open the clipped image in the Editor
But, not place it on my clipboard

Ah. Older version. I don't have that installed any more. I hope someone else can answer your question.......

If SnagIt is running, there will be an Icon in the system tray,

Click it to open it.
