Show different color formats on Eyedropper

I love the Eyedropper, but it would be great if we can see more than just the HEX format for the color we're hovering over.

For example, I use applications that use RGB color settings, and I often have to find an online converter. It'd be nice if the Eyedropper showed another row of with RGB values, something like this rather clumsy mockup:

Thanks!

This is on Windows but you can change the mode in the color picker.

Snagit 2019

Camtasia 2018

Beware though they like to reset back to the Hex code so you have to check what mode it is in when you use it

Only thing wrong with this scenario is that you must choose a fill colour first then use the eye dropper tool from within the colour picker. I like the idea of showing both and only having to choose the eye dropper tool to pick a fill colour.

Thank you! That'll come in handy. It still might be nice to show both rows of info on the hover-over state since I do also use Hex alot as well, but this is nice.

Something you might want to check out that I use all the time and I know others here use it is ColorCop.

Forget that online converter stuff.

It's a small footprint install and makes using different code modes easy.

+1 for color cop. A friend alerted me to it many years ago. It's been part of my toolbox ever since!
