Single Page Documents sent to Snagit Printer then shared as email attach .png instead of .pdf like multi-page documents.

I have already went through tech support and the only recommendation was to post here so the developers could consider this for future releases.  Starting after Version 11.4, when sending a single page document to the Snagit Printer, then Sharing as an email, the document is attached as a .png.  If a multi-page document is sent it is attached as a .pdf.  Previous to 12, both single page and multi-page documents were attached as .pdf (or whatever you choose.).  The newer version require that you save the file as a .pdf before attaching, extra steps for users who send many documents per day.  My end users refuse to use SnagIt beyond version 11.4 for this reason, no more upgrades for TechSmith.  I would suggest that this be resolved as any free pdf view allows you to save and send.  The advantage of Snagit was that the extra steps of saving first was not required.

I have posted this same message before, and that is  that Version 11.4 was the best Snag-it ever released. My first Snag-it was Version 3.1 from back in 1999 (no video capture at all). But there are many other reasons why this older version was better, and not just the .png/.pdf issue. I bought Version 12 when it came out and it had so many downfalls I reverted back to the previous Version 11.4. But in my case, I do not use the Editor at all and do all my post processing with PSP, a real heavy duty photo editing program. So, perhaps many of the added features in Snag-it are centered around the post processing, which I cannot really address. But as for the basic screen and video capturing aspects, Version 11.4 is the best hands down. Tech Smith seems to be doing what Microsoft did with Windows 8.0, 8.1, and 10 - forget about your customer base (1 Billion with, and had their CEO fired) and develop what they like and not necessarily for the customer.
