Sketch Motion Objects: Possible to adjust height & width separately?

In Camtasia 2018 for Mac, when you create a Sketch Motion object, it appears that the aspect ratio is always 1:1.  This means that if you're limited to creating Sketch Motion squares and you cannot create Sketch Motion rectangles because the width and height are always the equal.

Is this right?  Am I missing something?  Is there some way to unlock the aspect ratio on Sketch Motion stuff on Mac?

Thanks,
-Ben

Hold down the shift key when dragging the corner, and it will stop locking it to the 1:1 aspect ratio.

AWESOME!  I *never* in a billion years would have guessed that holding down shift would do that.  *never*!  Thanks!  :)

You'd kind of think that it would work in the reverse -- aspect ratio is unlocked by default and if you press shift, it'll lock the aspect ratio.  That's how most other apps work.  (shrug)

you're absolutely right, that is the more common way this works. However, in this case, most of the sketch motion callouts really look best if they are in their original aspect ratio. As such, we decided to make that the easy/'normal' case, and stretching the alternative.
