skipping video content

I have created a video for training purposes, and I need to force the viewers to watch all of the video. Currently, users can skip the content by pressing the button on the player controls for the quiz, and it will skip the content. How can I prevent this from happening so they are forced to watch it all?

Assuming you are presenting the video using the TechSmith Smart Player, you could modify it so you don't present the playbar.

Check the threads linked below to learn how to make the modification.

What are my options if  I'm uploading this video to Screencast?

I was able to edit the HTML player, but how would I be able to upload to screencast?

Hello again

Yeah, ScreenCast is going to be a completely different story. As I understand it, you simply upload an MP4 Camtasia created. So there isn't any real ability to use the modified support files. Those would only work if you uploaded the file set to your own web site. Or possibly if uploading to a Learning Management System (LMS).

Only TechSmith can likely provide a definitive answer here.

We currently do not have an option with the Smart Player on Screencast to hide the controls.  If you are asking a user to enter their name and email address before the video starts, you will get the percentage of the video they watched before answering a set of questions at a specific time.  Sorry I don't have better news at this time.
