Slow audio in playback.Hi I am experiencing audio quality issues, version 8.4.3. When i record a PPT using a headset and try to play back and edit, the sound is very distorted, it is much slower - isntead of hello, you hear h,h,h,h,h,h,h,e,e,e,e,e,e,l,l,l,l,l,l,l,o,o,o,o,o,o,o,o, and has a clicking sound in the background. Any advice would be appreciated

Hello,

Sounds like wrong sample rate issue; sudden problem? have you been successful recording this way in the past? Is this a trec or AVI recording? Can you actually see the audio level meter move as you speak?

If you haven't knowingly changed anything, try a reboot . If that doesn't restore sanity, consider a system restore. It's usually less stressful than trying to figure out where the problem is.

Hello there Herb,

Unless you have created a restore point very recently "Like hours ago or within the past Day or 2", system restore should be used as a last resort in most of these cases. Using it under any circumstances can lead to unforeseen consequences as well.
If you were to run a relatively recent system restore point. Lets say it was created 2 weeks ago.
It will remove 2 weeks of updates to your anti-virus software. Along with any new programs installed,  Windows updates, system drivers, etc.

I would try contacting support first, they can dig in and probably help you with this.
