Drive Sync seems rather slow. Works OK on ChromeOS - sometimes a second or so. On PCs on both our school network and my home PC sync at best takes about 10 second and sometimes sevral minutes.

Hi Roger,

I've definitely been noticing a bit of lagging today as well; nothing so bad as multiple minutes, but usually around 10 seconds which is much longer than we were seeing previously.

Let's keep an eye on this over the next few days. If it's still slow for you, let us know and we'll start seeing what options we have to investigate here. Thanks!

I have this issue tonight. The beta was great. I installed the new version and now I can not seem to sync to my Drive. Weird! Worked a little slowly at school, but will not sync at home.

Humm...I shut down Chrome, and now the sync works. Weird. Maybe just my computer, but it seems to be working better now. I do love this app, though! Thanks for the great work. This and Fuse made my week!

Huh, weird. Hopefully just a small hiccup like you said. Definitely if it shows back up, let us know so we can look into it. And thanks for your feedback and for using Snagit for Google Chrome and Fuse!

For other users coming from the beta, you may want to try clearing the local cache.  This can be done by clicking the settings cog in the upper right-hand corner, followed by the dangerous-looking "Clear Cache" link.

Be sure to read the warning.  Any local changes and captures you have that have not yet synced to drive will be erased forever.  This isn't usually an issue unless you have been taking and editing captures offline.  When you clear the cache, the library will empty and begin re-syncing.

There were some last-minute bug fixes before the release related to syncing.  However, some captures have some cached data that is in a bad state and it breaks the new syncing logic.

I plan on spending some more time improving our syncing logic over the next few weeks.  It can be tricky stuff :-).  But I appreciate your patience with whatever bugs pop up.
