Small circle graph showing on ppt slide

Newbie here. (mac platform) I imported some ppt slides to Camtasia to do a test video. All slides have this circle thing on them. Tried to delete it, don't know how.  I finished the video thinking that it wouldn't show there but it does show even on the end product.

How to delete this ? and why does this show on the first place?

Thanks

Hi Newbie,

That is just the rotate or delete options for that image. So, if you grab the circle, you can rotate the image. If you click the X, it will delete it. Or, you can just click on the image to position it.

Those will not show in your final video.

Thanks for using Camtasia!

small correction- clicking the X will NOT delete it. It's just to grab onto, to move your video arouond (or slide in this case) and indicates where the center of your object is.

There are some fancy ways to change what you rotate around and that circle shows the part you're rotating around. But, you don't need to worry about that.

Indeed I can’t delete it but the problem remains that it shows in my video after I’m done. The recording is grabbing whatever is on the screen and this thing is on the video

Okay... so, perhaps we misunderstood....
This is IN THE RECORDING you have in Camtasia... so, if this is true... then they are showing in your original PPT slide. So, perhaps when you recorded, that image or images were selected.

Did you record in Slide Show mode?

So far I have tried only the way of creating ppt then going to Camtasia to import it. I still have to figure out how to add the add-in PowerPoint for MAC so I can record directly there and then import the video to Camtasia.

That said, the circle does not show on ppt slides (under PowerPoint) it starts showing only once imported to Camtasia.

I hope this is what you were asking
