Snaggit 2019 Mac, NO AUDIO...

Gotta admit... using Snaggit Mac the last 2 years has been painful.  First time user, bought 2018.

Worked GREAT... then, one day, never ending "Screen recording failed" messages.  Tried and did everything... no love.  Virtually no help from the interwebs.  Plenty of others with the same problem... no solution.

I balked at buying 2019... if I spend $50 on a piece of software, I expect it to work, not NOT work.

Okay... tonight I bite the bullet.  I upgrade to 2019.  Now screen recording works, but audio does not, AT ALL.  I install your audio drivers... NO SYSTEM AUDIO AT ALL.

Do I want to listen to audio on content and video coming over the wire to my laptop?  Well yeah... given we are almost 100 years past "silent movies".

Great.  In order to get my system audio back for ANYTHING, I have to uninstall your audio driver for Snaggit.

The real problem is this... your audio driver does NOT work.  Installed... it still won't let me record system audio... and it blocks ALL OTHER audio from functioning unless I un-install it.

Come on guys... I have been working in the Mac software space since 1989.  Do you think you could trouble your coders with writing an audio driver that works with the Mac OS before you sell us software that pretends to be useable on Same?

i keep this Snaggit in my mail so i can see how many people are buying this product but complain about it at the same time. I am not buying a product that has this much of a problem and confusion. It reminds me of Apple and Microsoft selling you a product and all they do is listen to complaints and make a patch that may or may not work. Why can't they get it right the first time?

We recently replaced our audio driver to with a new one that addresses many of the problems with the earlier one, so it sounds like you might have the old one. Can you link to where you're downloading it from?
