Snaggit word wrap issue when annotating.

Hello.

Snaggit Version 2019.1.3 (94036) (and many versions before this) have a weird problem with doing text annotations.  See this compare with the Skitch tool.  It is time consuming to have to reflow every text annotation.

Ideally, wrapping edge should be set when pressing enter, or when it has to because of boundaries.  I think that is how it used to work a couple years ago.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hi,

This should work much more naturally in our 2019.1.5 update that we released today. Let us know if it works well for you.

This is driving me batty v2019.1.5.  (mac).  When I create a text box or callout, any typing I do continues on a single line and dous not wrap or conform to the size of the object I created.  If I resize the object to my original size, it wraps.  However when I edit the text, it reverts to a single line and I have to resize it again.

Hi,

So sorry about this! We fixed it a little too far in the other direction, we're working on getting a happy medium that should solve the original issue and what you're seeing. If this bug is a dealbreaker, you can contact our Tech Support and they can get you back onto 2019.1.4 for now. I will post back here once we have the fix that we're working on.

Hi,

Not at the moment, what you can do for now is download 2019.1.4 and then we will post back here when the fix is available.
