Snagit 12 editor missing after reinstall

Snagit 12 and its editor worked perfectly in Windows 7, but when I installed it on my new computer with Win10, the editor was missing. So I uninstalled using Control Panel, then to be sure, deleted all references to it in the registry, then rebooted before reinstalling. Now Snagit still works, but still no editor. How do it get it back? Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Go to Programs list - look for SnagIt 12 Editor. If you don't see it, type SnagIt in the search box and then select SnagIt 12 Editor from the list. Probably a good idea to pin it to start menu or task bar.

Thanks for that. Using the search box worked, but when I go to either the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders, there is no sign of TechSmith or SnagIt, even when I set my folder options to show hidden files and folders. However, when I finally located the editor using the search box, then asked to open the file location, it did appear in Program files (x86).
