When installing Snagit 13, is it okay or even required to keep old versions installed?

I recently updated to Snagit 13 and was wondering if is neccessary to maintain older version of snagit (Snagit 11 & 12)?

Only if you want to use a feature that isn't present in 13 or if you need or want to return to the older interface.

Hello,
This is a good question!

I recommend you copy any stamps in your 11 or 12 stamp folder over to the 13 folder so you have those available, if you need them.

Also, export your presets/profiles so you can import them into V13 so you also have those available, if you need them.

And finally, if you use certain arrows, lines, boxes, etc., make a Snag file with samples of those on it. Then, open that Snag file in V13 and add those styles to your Quickstyles.

How do you export profiles?  I just purchased 13 and I think I will uninstall 12, to get a clean start as my profiles are a bit of a mess.  But, as I sill be installing it to two computers, I never knew that there was a way of exporting these - save me having to set everything up twice

You do not need to uninstall the older version if you are still evaluating 13, old major versions should live side by side with the newer versions.
