Snagit 13.1 AppV 5.1 package on publishing appears with "Run Snagit when window starts" un-ticked.

After creating a AppV 5.1 package of Snagit 13.1 as per the recipe you provide and post publishing the sequenced Appv 5.1 application on a test machine with appv 5.1 client, I noticed that the option "Run Snagit when window starts" appears to remain un-ticked though during sequencing this option was ticked and I also see that a shortcut "TSC_SI_13.lnk" created under startup folder on the test machine. Am using a licenced version of snagit and have customised the MSI file using the "TechSmith_Deployment_Tool" tool you provide wherein the option "Run Snagit when window starts" is also enabled.

Please suggest.

Hi Deb!  When deploying Snagit as an AppV package, we do not suggest having Snagit configured to run when Windows starts.  If that option is checked when sequencing, it can cause some issues in the sequencer where it may not know which GUID paths to create the shortcut for the application.  Updating the application may also require re-creating the shortcut.  So, right now we would not suggest configuring Snagit to start with Windows in an AppV package.  Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help!
