Snagit 13 Editor can't count

In Snagit 13 I often have to manually refresh the Library view by hitting F5 to remove images from view that are still visible as 'Recent captures' even when they no longer count as such according to the tree on the left. For example, the count visible in the tree on the left may be 10, but 20 images may still be visible in the main pane on the right, until I hit F5 to make those extra images disappear and get everything back in sync.

Today, after hitting F5 to refresh, I see that according to the tree on the left, 9 images are considered to be 'Recent captures'. However, in the main pane on the right, 10 images are visible. Clearly, the Refresh is not actually refreshing the tree on the left and the counts shown there.

See the attached screenshot.

This is yet another example (in addition to other bugs I've logged with TechSmith) where the Library/Editor does not refresh correctly. I believe that TechSmith's QA department (if they have one) are asleep at the wheel.

Bump.

Even when the number on the left does update, it is still not counting correctly. After taking this screenshot used in this thread, the count in the left pane for Recent Captures incremented to 10, while the number of images displayed in the right pane is now 11.

Thanks for the report!

We aren't able to reproduce this. Did you update from a previous version? And if so, do you recall which?

I upgraded from 13.0.0 to 13.0.1. And originally from 11.4.3 to 13.0.0.

But all the images that are displayed on the right were taken with 13.0.1.

I was able to see them getting out of sync if I manually advanced the clock by a month.  However, it went away when restarting Snagit. Does it still remain out of sync when you restart Snagit? I wasn't able to consistently find a way to repro that. I've filed an issue, but if you have any steps to reproduce it, that would be helpful.

For me, the number is out of sync still, even after restarting Snagit. Even after taking new screenshots, the number displayed in the right pane is always 1 higher than what is reported in the left pane.
