Snagit 13 -

1. Tool bar at head of page does not remain constant when you modify it to suit - need to use the drop down box for each image you need to modify.

2. Use of Step to place a number in an image reverts back to the default size and colour - need to be modified with each image you open.

3. Resize image is not available on the toolbar - why not?

4. I was asked to down load ver 13 as I was having trouble with ver 12 not resizing more than 5 or 6 images.

5. I have been using SnagIt for nearly 20 years - but ver 13 is problematical.

Agree: Much as I have been a raving Snagit fan to many people in my professional and personal life, the last 2 major releases have had as many technical issues, missing functions, missing improvements and new workflow nuisances as they have had improvements. It has become a love/hate relationship.

Having worked many years for vendors at the high end of the telecom H/W and S/W and cloud application space, if it were my company I would assign enough staff to be able to fully scrub the help forums and purposely distill it down to quantifiable items and get this done within 30 days. Present the results to the Forum community via pinned Survey post to let users contribute needs in a meaningful way, by voting on improvement items (which each include a "quickness to develop" ranking).

Too many small voices in the night, at present - this functionally obviates an orderly approach to completing the most-needed resolutions, IMHO.

I agree. I find Snagit 13 to be very non-intuitive to use. For example, I want to add a simple text box to a screen capture, but there seems to be no way to add a border around the text. This is maddening. As well, you have to fiddle with the "properties" to get rid of the bold and shadow and awful colours and whittle it down to a basic font in black. Not impressed.
