SnagIt 13 - technical issues with Surface Book

I've only used SnagIt 13 on my Microsoft Surface Book for a few minutes, but noticed it's having problems with drivers and extended desktops. I occasionally get messages like "Display driver has stopped responding..." at which point I need to reboot my computer for SnagIt to work again. And I can't use the SnagIt editor on my extended screen. The scaling of the application gets huge and exceeds the screen boundaries. On the bright side, v13 solves the problem I had with the previous version where the toolbar options appeared minuscule on the Surface Book screen.

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Can you provide some more details about these problems such as the version of Windows being used, the model of Surface Book, and the screen resolution of your Surface the extended screen?

When Snagit or Snagit Editor is on the extended screen is when you're seeing either being huge? Is Snagit able to take captures of things on the extended screen?

Since your graphics driver is crashing, have you tried to update it? That can be done from "Device Manager" -> Display adapters -> right-click on the adapter and select "Update driver software".

Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, OS Build 10586.318. Surface Book i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHZ, 8 GB RAM, 64-Bit. I confirmed that I have the latest updates for graphics drivers. (Of course, Microsoft has notable problems with the firmware on the Surface Book, which is completely different than the Surface Pro 4. ) The extended monitor is Acer LCD G226HQL with 1920 x 1080 resolution. To be clear, I can capture content on the extended monitor, but I can't drag the actual SnagIt 13 editor to the other screen because it gets huge and doesn't rescale properly. SnagIt 12 didn't have this problem.... In terms of the driver crashes, it isn't frequent, just a couple of times when I was clicking around the various Click Styles and Properties in v13, trying to learn the new UI.
