Snagit 2018.2.0 installed and forms are different again.

Just updated to 2018.2.0.In the next screenshot I added a rounded rectangle as a form. I noticed that the shape of rounded rectangle is different to the previous version. This is a mess since I work with Snagit. I use it for screenshot in a book and all forms in the screenshot should be the same. This is impossible with Snagit since the shapes change between versions. The rounded rectangle looks more than a elliptical rectangle. It should be possible to user define the shapes or keep a rounded rectangle a rounded rectangle and nothing else.In the long term I canno accept this behaviour and have to look for a better tool.

I see your point, I would not be pleased if I were you either.

They improved it  because you can control the roundness  of the corners.

But they failed to maintain the default shape of the original design. I just applied one for the first time. It's a feature that's been requested for quite some time.

My suggestion is that you download  version  1.1.0 { March 2018 } and use it instead. Maybe TechSmith will correct this in a future release?

You can download it from this link.

You could create one, adjust the curvature to taste. Then copy and paste to get a consistent radius.Other than that, I can't find a way to assign a numerical value. That would be the only way to control it with precision.
In Photoshop, the radius is measured in pixels. You can even assign different values to each corner if you wanted to.

OK, I found out how to control the radius but I cannot find the "Live Shape Properties".  The screenshot shows the properties I can setup

Edit: OK I see. Your screenshot shows the Photoshop settings.
