wht the hck happend to snagit 2018 its complty dead in win10 fall creator update latest pacth its not evn opening window. i thnk i wasted my $49.
my pc specs. i5 4460,1060 6gb,8gig ram,128gig ssd,2tb hdd, windows 10 fall creator update 1709 build runnning on letest (KB4054517)pacth

I am on the fall creator's edition and it is not completely dead at all
What do you mean by "completely dead"? Did it install? are you getting any error messages?
This is  basically a user to use forum although employees do show up

Have you checked the hidden icons in the taskbar area to see if the orang snagit button is available? IF it is there try right clicking it and see if you can open a capture window
If not Try this:
Open Task manager and MAKE SURE snagit is not running. If there are any instances, end the task(s)
Go clean out your TEMP folder usually at C:\Users\YOUR LOGIN\AppData\Local\Temp
You might not be able to delete everything and that is ok
Then go into C:\Program Files\TechSmith\Snagit 2018 and run snagit32 AS AN ADMINISTRATOR by right clicking it and choosing that option. Keep task manager loaded so you can see if it loaded. Try it a couple of times but don't waste too much time with it. If it works GREAT and if  not, we'll go to the next step which is probably opening a support ticket
But do report back here as someone else may get on that has had the same issue
If you do open a ticket, have all the steps you have tried ready for them so they can get to this quicker. 
I am running  this in the fall creator's update so it can be fixed but it is frustrating for sure

It works with this build: 1709 (OS Build 16299.125).  I also works with Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview: : 1709 (OS Build 17063.1000).

There is a snagit issue and he may need support to handle it. It is not loading at all or partially loading. If more than one version is installed it has made issues for some people.
I would hesitate to uninstall and reinstall as I had issues with it not successfully installing and needing support to bail me out. THere is an issue with the uninstaller and I am not sure that is fixed in the recent update

OK - check task manager and do try running as administrator.If that doesn't work, head to the control panel and programs and try a repair reinstall. After that, it should probably go to support
