Snagit 2019.01 Build 2448 - Plugins do not Install

When I try to install any of the latest plugins (Word, PowerPoint, even Camtasia), I get the message that I require a newer version of Snagit, and nothing installs. When I check for updates, I am told I have the latest version. I'm open to suggestions.

Reboot your machine and try again.

If no joy write techsmith support.

Snagit may not install them if it is running.
Close Snagit completely and then double click on the plugin.

Snagit should open and add the plugin/output.
You may have to close and reopen Snagit again after installing the plugin.

If you have a anti-virus running you may have to temporarily disable it to install the plugins.

Some browsers change the extension to .zip
If that happens they will not  install.

Do this:

    Right click on the downloaded output/accessory and choose Rename.
    Change the extension from .zip to .tscplugin
    Double click the file again and see if it works

I have the same problem, the items above do to allow the plugin to install.

Are you sure you have the right version to install?
