Snagit 2019 Editor - Please allow user to disable grid lines when cropping image.

I use Snagit to create screen shots for user support requests. Some of the screen shots are very small (images of buttons), and I want to crop them very precisely, giving them a border around the image but not including any lines around the button that were captured in the screen shot.

In Snagit 12, when I selected a region, then clicked Crop, I was able to select very precisely what I wanted in the image.  Now the available methods of cropping either include the grid line overlay or are less precise (dragging from the corners of the image - also, this is counterintuitive - in most applications, dragging from the corners of an image causes the image to scale down in size).  I'm finding it difficult to crop images as I want them to look.

Please allow users to disable the display of grid lines when cropping an image.

Thanks.

You can just use the selection tool to select what you want and then rightclick it and select crop and BOOM!

There you go.

No fuss no muss no grid lines.
