New Laptop - how to transfer SnagIT 2019 files to new laptop?
I tried copying and pasting files in to datastore folder, but it is not registering files in SnagIT editor

You should create a backup of the data store from the old laptop if it still functions.
You do this from the Editor's Preferences.

Then, import that file to the new computer. Run Restore Backup from the same menu on the new computer. Point restore to the back up file.

You could run regedit and delete the SnagIt 2019 folder. Restart SnagIt and see if that works.
This will reset all your preferences. Then there's a complete reinstall to attempt.
