Snagit 2019 not providing option to exclude Title Bar, Scroll Bar, etc

The new version of Snagit 2019 seems to insists on including the title bar (and scroll bar, tabs in Excel, etc). The old version always gave you options for what to choose and I could choose just the content of my Excel spreadsheet, but I can't seem to get the new one to do anything but the whole darned thing (though I CAN choose to ONLY highlight the scroll bar. Which is in no way useful).

How are you making the capture?

There are many ways to make captures and you may need to try a different method.

I've tried it as All-in-One and Image, both with Region and I've tried all of the other combinations as well. None of them seem to work.

If you are using a Region capture When the crosshair pops up you can click and drag to select just what you want.

Put the cross where you want to start and click and drag over the area you want and release

You can also move your mouse (without clicking) where you want to start and hit the space bar. That will set your start point and then just move your mouse over the area  you want and then click or hit the enter key.

With region you can select exactly what you want with or without the title line, etc.

@Jasons, yes this is what I expect it to do, and it has always worked this way, but it's not doing it.

@Dubie, I don't want to have to drag the crosshairs because I have way too many screenshots to grab and I count on the quick click of the pre-selected region. You should be able to hover over the area you want and if you want more you can hover over the rest and it will capture that as well. But it's not doing that.

I gotcha.

Have you tried the normal restart Snagit, reboot, etc?

Maybe try a "Repair install" a file may have become corrupted.

Have you tried the Object Capture?

That only selects different areas when you hover over them.  What it selects can vary depending on the webpage or program you are screen grabbing.

Tried and no luck. Haven't done the repair install option yet, but will try. I found the Fixed Region option to ultimately work really well (just took forever to figure out the actual positions). I'll probably just use that method ongoing. It was actually pretty snazzy once I figured out how to use it. Literally saved me an hour of work throughout the day.
Thanks for your help and suggestions!! I really appreciate your time and efforts!
