I no longer have the ability to scroll in Safari.  I've read a few articles, but none are helping.

Ideas?

Have you tried the Panoramic type of capture? I'm assuming the Mac version offers that.

I tried to use it, but it would not scroll either, it just captures what is on my computer screen and is no where as user friendly.  I'm wondering if I lost a plug-in or something in the update to the newer version.  Thank you!

Just to double-check here, hopefully you are aware that with the Panoramic capture type, it's not automagickal. You begin the capture process, surround the area you want to capture, then click a Start button to actually begin. Then you MANUALLY scroll whatever you are trying to capture, then when you are finished, you click a Stop button to complete the process.

Apologies if you were already aware of how that works.

You are in good company as many users here have had difficulty in getting SnagIt’s all-in-one capture feature to work. To fix, simply adjust macOS’s permissions. Specifically,

In addition to the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording reference from an earlier article, be sure to enable SnagIt 2020, in:

o System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Camera
o System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone
o System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access and
o SnagItHelper2020 found in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility

as well.

Thank you.  It was not listed under Full Disk Access, I did not have it checked in Accessibility and once that was checked, it functioned, so FDA was not required.  I already had the other two done.  THANK YOU!

Hi,

In the future if you're having issues related to macOS permissions, you can open up our permissions window which helps you fix each one.

it can be found here in Snagit's preferences
