Snagit 4 Mac not capturing menu title?

I'm using SnagIt 4.0.6 for Mac to do menu captures for a manual. When I try to capture a menu in any app, I get the dropdown menu (and the hierarchical pop-out menu, if desired), but I do not get the menu title.

I've looked through preferences, forums, and tried a number of different things, but no dice. I really don't want to have to trim menus from background, or add menu titles in a separate edit, so any help that folks here might be able to provide would be great.

I'm running Mac OS Sierra on a newish MacBook Pro with plenty of RAM and storage.

thanks!

If you configure a 'region' capture in snagit, then you can drag a region to copy the menu you're trying to capture.

A region capture coupled with a second or two delay can be handy for capturing popups and other menus that would otherwise go away.

You can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to fine tune the destination corner.
(It should work with the source corner, but for me it does not)

While Snagit is my main guy, I keep several other screenshot apps handy for particular shots that Snagit is not doing (yet -- I hope). This one is done with Capto and I think is what you are asking for.

Please note you are one update behind  (4.0.7) . I don't know if it will make a difference.

Just tried in 4.0.6 then updated to 4.0.7. It captured the title in both versions. Uses the key combo of Control Shift e.
