SnagIt and New Computer - Image Library

I need to switch to a new machine and I don't want to lose all of the images in my SnagIt library.  Please correct me if this is wrong, but I saw in other posts the images are stored here (I have Windows 10): C:\Users\[user id]\AppData\Local\TechSmith\Snagit\DataStore.

If I compress the DataStore folder on my old machine and then install the tool again, do I just copy the old directory over to the same location on the new machine, or are there other steps that should be done?  Thanks

You export the datastore from the old machine.

Then import the datastore on the new machine.

This takes care of whats store in the datastore.

However, files you've saved to other locations. Ones that still reside in the Library.
Don't come along for the ride.

If she/he has a file history or folder backup and that/those are restored to the same location on the new machine, then all should be well as the datastore still points to the same location on the new hard drive.
